Woman dragged ‘several hundred metres’ on road in Brisbane carjacking

It will be alleged another man then got into the car, sat in the driver’s seat and drove off with the young woman still in the passenger seat.
It will also be alleged the carjacker then pushed the female passenger out of the Lancer, resulting in her being dragged for several hundred metres while the car drove erratically.
Police said the Lancer eventually crashed into a brick wall outside a church in nearby O’Keefe Street.
A man was arrested by police officers who rushed to the scene.
The young female victim suffered “serious injuries”, according to police.
Paramedics took her to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition with “significant abrasions to her body”.
