Woman dead after house fire in Brisbane’s south
A woman has died in a house fire in Brisbane’s south on Monday night.
Emergency services were called to Rowe Terrace at Darra about 11.30pm when they found the house engulfed in fire and a woman’s body inside.
Police said a member of the public was treated for smoke inhalation after trying to help at the scene before emergency services arrived.
A crime scene has been declared and investigators are determining the cause of the fire.
Police have urged anyone with information to contact police.
