Frontline workers from one of New South Wales’ largest regional hospitals have started receiving the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.
Key points:
- The first frontline workers at The Wollongong Hospital and Port Kembla are starting to receive the Pfizer vaccine
- Up to 4,000 workers at the hospital and 700 at the port will be vaccinated by August
- As many as 350 staff will be vaccinated each day
