With a 15 to 20 knot north westerly forecast for the morning I didn’t expect much activity at the river mouth. Got there around 6.00am which was about mid tide, roughly three hours or so after a 0.17m low tide.
Mostly wind driven slop on the bar. Only two boats out that I’m aware of and one of them came back in as I was filming. Said it was a bit sloppy in the bay. Mack tuna schools working the baitfish out around Jew Shoal and that was about it. Background Music: ‘Backwoods BBQ’… by Chris Haugen. www.fishingnoosa.com.au
