A team of emerging and established scientists at Winston-Salem State University are working with NASA.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. —While many scientists are working to develop vaccines for COVID-19, a team of emerging and established scientists at Winston-Salem State University are working to develop a legacy stretching farther than Planet Earth.
The WSSU Astrobotany Lab is currently in a four-year Space Act Agreement with NASA to research food development. Astrobotany is the study of plants in space.
