Win puts McLaughlin on brink of title – Supercars.com
Scott McLaughlin is poised to secure his third consecutive Supercars title later this afternoon, following victory in the second race of the OTR SuperSprint.
McLaughlin finished first and rival Jamie Whincup seventh in an action-packed 32-lap contest that concluded with a seven-lap sprint following a Safety Car restart.
Penrite Racings Anton De Pasquale and Tickford Racings Cameron Waters completed the podium the second in as many days for the Ford driver.
McLaughlin now has a 299-point lead …
