Wild weather continues to pummel NSW as evacuations ordered for Port Macquarie, Taree, Dungog

Several areas on NSW’s coast have been ordered to immediately evacuate as severe weather is causing life-threatening flash flooding and windstorms stretching from the mid-north coast to Sydney.

The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) has ordered evacuations in Taree, Dungog, Port Macquarie, Cundletown, Lower Macleay, North Haven, Dunbogan and Laurieton.

Evacuation warnings are in place for low-lying areas of Macksville, North Macksville, Kings Point and Kempsey.
