Why the ‘significantly weaker’ Pies CAN play finals… despite an ‘alarming’ list issue

Brownlow Medallist Gerard Healy still expects Collingwood to play finals this year but has raised an alarming imbalance on its list.
The Pies were one of the busiest clubs during the off-season, making an array of list changes. Outside of trading Adam Treloar, Jaidyn Stephenson, Tom Phillips and Atu Bosenavulagi, they delisted Flynn Appleby, Tim Broomhead, Matthew Scharenberg and Rupert Wills, while Dayne Beams, Lynden Dunn, Tom Langdon, Ben Reid and Travis Varcoe all retired.
