Why some people still wear masks outside when they’re no longer a must – The Age
Under the new rules, Victorians don’t need to wear masks outdoors if they can socially distance. But it’s become a force of habit for some.

Heng The, who was wearing a mask on St Georges Road after visiting the North Fitzroy Library, was also keeping hers on because it was easier than taking it off. But she said she would probably stop wearing it when nobody was around.
Dr Denise Goodwin, research fellow at BehaviourWorks Australia at Monash University, walked out the door on Tuesday wearing her mask and said it had become a habit for most Victorians.
