Why Dangerfield ban has created a ‘breaking point’ in the AFL

Patrick Dangerfields three match ban could be the turning point for future cases as the AFL clamps down on concussion incidents in the game.
Dangerfield was slapped with a big ban after his bump left Crow Jake Kelly concussed and with a broken nose, with the tribunal electing to rub the star midfielder out for a number of matches.
With concerns around concussion growing across the AFL, Dangerfields suspension could be viewed as a line in the sand for such instances moving forward.
