WHO warns partying youngsters are partly driving COVID-19 spike – Sydney Morning Herald
Evidence suggests that recent spikes of cases in some countries are being “driven in part by younger people letting down their guard”, the head of the World Health Organisation said.
Spain reported 1229 new coronavirus infections on Thursday, topping 1000 for the second day in a row and marking the biggest rise since a national lockdown was lifted on June 21, health ministry data showed.
