WHO team visits second Wuhan hospital as coronavirus investigation continues

A World Health Organization team investigating the origins of the coronavirus pandemic have visited another Wuhan hospital that treated early COVID-19 patients on its second full day of work.
Key points:
- The investigators are speaking directly with medics who first dealt with the virus
- The mission is politically charged and sensitive for the Chinese Government
- The team is expected to also visit a seafood market linked to many of the first cases
Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital was one of the first in the Chinese city to deal with patients in early 2020 suffering from a then-unknown virus and is a key part of the epidemiological history of the disease.
