Warning: This story contains details that readers may find distressing.
The popular tourist attraction at the Barossa Reservoir, near Williamstown, north-east of Adelaide, was closed following the nine-month-old’s horrific death on Wednesday afternoon at the hands of her father Henry Shepherdson, in a murder-suicide.
Shepherdson, 38, jumped from the Whispering Wall with his daughter in a baby carrier.
There were few tourists at the usually busy attraction on Saturday morning, but tributes to the infant continued to be left near the site’s entrance.
