Remnants of China’s largest rocket launched last week are predicted to plunge back through the atmosphere on Sunday – here’s where.
Debris from a rogue Chinese rocket is set to make a crash landing near Australia on Sunday.
The 22-tonne spacecraft was launched a week ago and, on Sunday morning AEST, re-entered low orbit.
The US Aerospace Corporation has forecast it will re-enter the atmosphere eight hours either side of 2.14pm AEST.
In a tweet sent on Friday evening, the space agency said debris is expected to land near New Zealands North Island, off the east coast of Australia.
