The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards will go ahead in September. Here’s what we can expect to see in a pandemic-proof awards ceremony.

Coronavirus has thrown a big spanner in the works for film and television academies when it comes to hosting the usual lavish red carpets and award ceremonies.
Some award shows, such as the Oscars, have been postponed but the Emmys are going ahead, pandemic be damned.
But the crucial need for social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19 means this year’s ceremony won’t look like anything you’ve seen before.
