What the jockeys said after the 2021 Coolmore Classic – Racenet
The Tony Gollan-trained Krone reproduced her trademark barnstorming finish to take out the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

We were obviously hoping that the track was going to be a bit more rain affected but she drew lovely and she had a good run throughout, didn’t spend a penny. She travelled up really good and when she got the gaps she really let rip. She’s in terrific form and for her to be able to do that with 57kg on her back, she had a good horse’s weight, she put that field away comfortably. She’s just in a great frame of mind at the moment I guess. She’s really enjoying her racing and that was very satisfying….
