What border restrictions are in place in each state and territory for NSW and Victorian travellers

New border restrictions are in place across Australia as the number of COVID-19 cases in New South Wales and Victoria continue to grow.
The changes have left thousands of people who had travelled for the holidays scrambling to get back home or face mandatory quarantine.
Here are the restrictions for each state and territory if you have been in New South Wales or Victoria.
Victoria
Victoria will close its border with New South Wales from 11:59pm on Friday, January 1.
Those who arrive in the 24 hours before the border closure will still need to take a COVID-19 test.
Victorians who arrive back from NSW after the deadline will need to go into hotel quarantine.
