‘What a disgrace’ – Star Roo’s ban met with AFL uproar as club urged to appeal
North Melbourne star Ben Cunnington is set to miss his sides Round 5 clash with Geelong after being handed a one-match ban for rough conduct.
Cunnington bumped Adelaides Rory Laird late in the second quarter of his sides loss to the Crows, giving away a free kick that was converted by Taylor Walker.
The incident was labelled as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, resulting in a one-match ban.
