Wet’n’Wild theme park patrons steal blind woman’s mobility aid
A legally blind woman who had her mobility cane stolen while at a Gold Coast water park says the experience has shattered her self-confidence.
Victorian mum Sharyl visited Wet’n’Wild while on a holiday with her 17-year-old son on Thursday when the incident occurred.
“We were going to one of the slides and I can’t really take my cane up there, so we went on the slide and came back and there were a few people about,” she told 7NEWS.com.au.
