Liam Ryan could be facing a fine from the league after an act made out of “extreme frustration” on Saturday night.
West Coast forward Liam Ryan may face a financial sanction from the AFL after flipping the bird late in his sides loss to Essendon on Saturday night.
With just under one minute remaining in the game, Ryan was involved in a heavy one-on-one contest with Mason Redman as the Bombers defender spoiled the ball away from Ryan and over the boundary line.
Redman then gave Ryan, who was still on the ground, a light knee to the ribs, prompting the West Coast goalkicker to get to his feet and briefly remonstrate…
