West Coast Eagles decide on replacement skipper for Luke Shuey ahead of Adelaide clash – The West Australian
WATCH: One of West Coast’s big names will lead the side for the first time when the Eagles clash with Adelaide on Saturday.

West Coast defender Jeremy McGovern will lead the Eagles for the first time against Adelaide at the Gabba on Saturday.
The four-time All-Australian will take the reins from injured skipper Luke Shuey, who is set to miss at least this weekends game with a hamstring injury.
McGovern was announced alongside spearhead Josh Kennedy as one of Shueys two deputies during the pre-season following premiership captain Shannon Hurns departure from the role after leading the team in 123 games.

Fyfe restricted to rehab group at training
Coach Adam Simpson made the announcement during training today at Metricon Stadium in front of the group, with the decision marked by plenty of enthusiasm.
It adds another accolade to the premiership defenders already distinguished career, which saw him come off the rookie list to make his debut in 2014 after being sent away from the club for returning to pre-season significantly overweight.
He was handed Dean Coxs famous number 20 in 2015 and has since gone on to become one of the games best defenders, playing 129 matches for the Eagles in eight years at the club.
From the North Albany Football Club in the Great Southern Football League, McGovern is the son of former Fremantle and Sydney player Andrew McGovern, who played 83 AFL games.
The Eagles are yet to reveal who will come into the side for Saturdays clash for injured pair Shuey and Jamaine Jones, with a number of players in contention.
