‘Wellness hotel’ pitched to grow from long-term Valley nightclub site
A long-term nightclub site in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley could be bulldozed and transformed into a high-end “lifestyle and wellness hotel”, under plans lodged with Brisbane City Council last week.
Alongside a redevelopment of the Great Wall Shopping Centre next door, the proposed 14-storey tower on the corner of Ann and Marshall streets — now home to the Ella Sabe nightclub — would result in the southern end of the block being entirely transformed.
