Weatherman helps recover body of UK swimmer on Gold Coast
Mr Jacobs’ body was found floating in the water about 6.20pm on Friday off Narrowneck Beach, about 5 kilometres north of where the pair disappeared.
Nine News Gold Coast weather presenter Luke Bradnam had just finished his on-air cross on Friday night when a boogie boarder alerted him to a body in the water.

“Fortunately, a clubbie and a lifesaver saw we were in trouble and came and helped us.”
