Weather News – Cyclone Niran forms near Queensland

Tropical Cyclone Niran has developed off the north Queensland coast this morning.

Niran was named a tropical cyclone early on Tuesday morning. At 4am AEST, the cyclone was sitting roughly 230 km to the northeast of Cairns, moving towards the northeast at about 15 km/h.
