A further plan for more separated lanes may go ahead if the 12-month trial is successful, including Albert Street between Mary and Alice streets, Alice Street along the Botanic Gardens, North Quay connecting Ann Street and the Victoria Bridge, and Melbourne Street in South Brisbane.
A council spokeswoman said wet weather had had a “minor impact” to the Elizabeth Street project and it was expected to be completed in the week starting January 11, 2021.
