On Wednesday, the minister for Covid vaccine deployment, Nadhim Zahawi, acknowledged that the Government was sitting on four million doses of the Pfizer vaccine. On Thursday, Matt Hancock suffered the indignity of turning up at a GP practice in London to celebrate the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine being made available in doctors surgeries only to find that it hadnt received any. When the Government cant even get hold of a few vaccines for a publicity stunt, something has gone badly wrong.
