“We Got Some Bad Judging”- Dana White Not Happy With Alexander Volkanovski vs Max Holloway Result – Essentially Sports
UFC President Dana White has slammed the judges after their split decision result which saw Max Holloway fail in his championship quest.

UFCs maiden offering from Fight Island is part of the history books. The card featured 3 championship fights all of which went to the fifth round. However, the closest one came in the Featherweight clash between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway. In the eyes of fans, Blessed had done enough to reclaim his belt. This could be drawn even from the way The Great threw caution to the wind in the final minute and went for a finish.
However, when Bruce Buffer announced the decision the Hawaiian was devastated. Moreover, fans slammed the split decision result that awarded Volkaovski a successful defense.
In a chat with the media following the PPV, Dana White too revealed that he wasnt on board with the result. When questioned about the co-main event, the UFC President said, Listen, man, you cant leave it to these guys. We got some bad judging, we got some bad judging and I dont know has Max been in here yet?

When some media members replied in the negative White said, I’m sure hes devastated.
At this point, the question was aired about another fight between the two. Third fights is are usually rubber fights with the pair being locked at one apiece. This is a situation that we see in the Heavyweight Division where Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic meet for the title after splitting their previous wins.
White however did not commit to a 3rd fight nor did he dismiss it. He said, Anybody in here scored for Volkanovski? Anybody had Volkanovski. Nobody in the media? Yea so well have to figure it out.

The Featherweight Champion was misfiring in the first 3 rounds. He lost the first 2 before making a comeback of sorts in the 3rd, but he had a legitimate claim over the 4th and 5th round. Holloway wasnt out completely and put up a massive effort. He may have convinced fellow UFC fighters that Zoom training could be the way ahead.
Do you think Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway need to do battle once more following the events of UFC 251 on Fight Island?
