‘We can shift’: WA wineries ready to pivot to avoid China crisis – WAtoday
Market diversification has WA wine producers well placed to emerge unscathed from the China trade crisis.

While Australia exports wine to 117 countries 39 per cent of it to China only 10 per cent of wine production in WA was exported, and 30 per cent of that to China, amounting to just 3 per cent of the state’s total production.
“The impact is not direct in WA but we do understand the implications at a business level and in regards to supply and demand more generally,” Wines of Western Australia chief executive Larry Jorgensen said.
