We had the chance to go hands-on with The Last Of Us Part II’s Grounded update (update 1.05) which releases later this week.
The update brings permadeath, grounded mode, a bunch of cheats, a variety if display and audio filters and a few other changes. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time with the permadeath mode, but it looks like it’s been pretty well incorporated and looks like it’ll provide a great challenge (escpecially paired with grounded difficulty).
