Over a single weekend, police shut down dozens of parties and raves – and even closed down a pub amid a crackdown on illegal gatherings
These were the scenes as cops swooped on an illegal rave in a city street – as officers shutdown 125 parties over a single weekend.
Officers were filmed breaking up the large gathering in Elliot Street, Nechells as around 60-70 people gathered in the early hours of last Saturday (August 8).
In the bodyworn footage above, they can be heard calmly instructing party-goers to ‘leave the location’ and ‘disperse’ from the rave – which was held with a DJ from Gloucestershire.
