North Melbourne will be crossing its fingers after youngster Kyron Hayden was forced from the field in a sickening incident during the third term.
Hayden produced one of the most courageous acts on the football field, running back with the flight of the ball, before copping a heavy knock from Richmond star Tom Lynch.
Hayden received high contact to his head and immediately appeared to be concussed, with North Melbourne medical staff needing to take the 21-year-old off the ground in a stretcher.
