WATCH: Bloodied Dees star sent to hospital for gruesome injury after Cat’s accidental elbow

Melbourne will be sweating on the medical assessment of star defender Steven May, who was left bloodied then subbed out of Sundays game against Geelong after copping an accidental elbow.
May was applying a tackle on Cats star Tom Hawkins before the latters elbow accidentally made contact with Mays face.
The star full-back was left bloodied and dazed, staying on the turf for around a minute as Hawkins came over to apologise to him.
