???? Waste-Free Friday – Great news! ????
The QLD Government has announced they are banning single-use plastic and polystyrene takeaway items.
From 1 September 2021 those laws will come into effect with single-use plastic straws, stirrers, cutlery, plates and expanded polystyrene products to be banned. (There are exemptions for people with a disability, those in aged care, schools and the health sector.)
