Punters, particularly Miss Iano backers, have been left scratching their heads over a controversial photo finish decision at Caulfield.The Moody-trained Our Campana, a noted drifter from $3.40 out to $4.80, was declared the winner of race two following a lengthy examination of the print.
While she looked a narrow winner in real time, and was called home by racecaller Matt Hill, a late dive by Miss Iano ($10 into $6.50) saw the decision sent upstairs to the judge.
Holy smokes, what a finish! They had a very long look at the photo.

Somehow, many pixels later, the photo finish judge found a very slender margin in favour of the inside horse Our Campana. The result saw a number of punters take to social media to voice their displeasure with the decision, or at least question it …
