WA’s Liberal Opposition Leader Zak Kirkup ‘won’t continue in the political arena’ if he loses Dawesville in upcoming state election
WA Liberal Opposition Leader Zak Kirkup has made another extraordinary concession about his political future just days out from the state election, telling 7.30 his time in politics will be over if he loses his seat.

“If I am not returned to Dawesville, I don’t think that I would return to politics,” Mr Kirkup told 7.30.
The 34-year-old holds his seat by around 300 votes. It is the second-most marginal Liberal seat in the state.
