Warriors great reveals himself as sportsman charged with importing meth – faces life in jail – Fox Sports
Warriors icon Manu Vatuvei has revealed himself as the sportsman facing a string of methamphetamine charges.
The former Warriors tryscoring machine, who played 29 Tests for New Zealand and two more for Tonga, is charged with possessing methamphetamine for supply and importing the Class A drug.
He has denied the charges, which were laid in December 2019.
Vatuvei, who has fought to keep his identity a secret, took to Instagram 48 hours ahead of his deadline to take his fight to the Court of Appeal to tell his followers about the charges.
