Nebraska | Investor Warren Buffetts fortune surged above $US100 billion ($129 billion) on Wednesday when shares of his company hit a record high at over $US400,000 ($518,000) apiece.
Berkshire Hathaways Class A shares climbed to $US407,750 Wednesday before giving up some ground to close the day at $US398,840. The Class B shares of the Omaha, Nebraska, based conglomerate were selling for a much more affordable price of $US263.99 ($341.59).
