Warning after ‘drugs claiming to be for Covid-19 treatment imported to NI’ – Belfast Live
“Some of these so-called medicines could potentially do more harm than the virus”
Unlicensed prescription medicines which claim to be for treatment of Covid-19 have been illegally imported into Northern Ireland.
Health Minister Robin Swann made a warning this afternoon after the Department of Health’s Medicines Regulatory Group were made aware of the incidents.
He issued a stark message against the use of the unlicensed drugs to treat Coronavirus.
