Warner blames himself as pressure mounts over strange IPL misfire – Fox Sports
David Warner has become the first man to score 50 half-centuries in the Indian Premier League — but it was hardly a cause for celebration.
The Australian opener on Wednesday night laboured to 57 runs off 55 balls as his Sunrisers Hyderabad reached 3-171 a total comfortably chased down by Chennai Super Kings with nine balls remaining.
Warner struggled to get out of second gear, saying after his innings he couldnt pick the gaps in the field.
The Sunrisers captain who took 36 balls to make 30 runs took responsibility for the loss after the match.
