Warne, Symonds’ Marnus jibe the gaffe that keeps on giving – Sydney Morning Herald
Tim Paine and Matthew Wade’s gentle dig at Shane Warne for the gaffe about Marnus Labuschagne has not gone unnoticed by some in the baggy green family.
The comments could easily be construed as more ribbing for Labuschagne, but The Tonk has been assured by those in the know it was a show of support, albeit a little clumsily executed.
While they were praised by punters online, many of them revelling in Warne being lost for words, it has not hit the mark with some former players.
