Walter Mondale, former US vice-president who served under Jimmy Carter, dies aged 93
Former US vice-president Walter Mondale, a Democrat who lost a presidential election to Ronald Reagan in a landslide after bluntly telling voters to expect a tax increase if he won, has died aged 93.
