COVID-19 cases in local health district on the rise.

The number of COVID-19 cases in the Hunter New England Local Health (HNEH) District is on the rise.
There are currently eight confirmed cases of COVID-19 in HNELHD, six in Port Stephens and two in Lake Macquarie local government area (LGA). There are no known cases of the infection in the Mid Coast LGA.
HNEH has identified three Newcastle venues, Wallsend Diggers, Hotel Jesmond and Lambton Park Hotel, as possible sources of infection.
