Wallabies staff move to calm player fears over prospect of months on the road – Sydney Morning Herald
National team hopefuls will sit down with staff this week to outline their personal situations as Rugby Australia tries to lock down plans for the Test calendar.
RA is open to welcoming families into the Australian team’s inner sanctum during camps for two possible Bledisloe weeks. Tests are likely on October 10 and 17, and there is also a proposed eight-week tour of New Zealand where the Wallabies, All Blacks, Springboks and Pumas will form a bubble and play six games in six weeks.
The first game in New Zealand is pencilled in on November 7 and the last on December 12. The later date could prove problematic for players as they may still be in quarantin…
