Australian shares are expected to open lower as global investors, fearing an overvalued market, dumped their high-flying tech stocks and bitcoinonce again.
ASX futures were down 26 points (-0.4pc) to 6,765, by 8:40am AEDT a big turnaround, considering they had dropped almost 80 points at one stage.
The Australian dollar was steady at 79.1 US cents.
