WA set to reopen border to Victoria but NSW call delayed until Monday after coronavirus scare
WA Premier Mark McGowan says the state should reopen to Victoria on Tuesday under planned its border changes, but a final decision on New South Wales travel will not be announced until Monday.
WA’s plan to allow quarantine-free travel from both states from Tuesday was thrown into doubt after a hotel quarantine worker tested positive in NSW, breaking that state’s run of 25 days without a confirmed locally-acquired COVID-19 case.
Mr McGowan today confirmed the latest health advice was Victorian travel was unlikely to be impacted.
