WA lockdown spurs border restrictions for travel into NSW, Vic, Qld and SA

States are ramping up border measures in response to the first COVID case in Western Australia in 10 months.
The state on Sunday reported one new case of the virus – a hotel quarantine security worker.
How he acquired his infection remains unknown.
However, it has brought about a five-day lockdown to attempt to curb any spread of the virus – not dissimilar to the temporary lockdown Brisbane underwent in January.
