Hundreds of West Australian hospitality workers are being underpaid, with many business failing to comply with employment laws.
Almost $350,000 in underpayments was identified for 369 employees at 49 cafes and restaurants during a 12-month investigation by industrial inspectors from the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.
Four out of five of the inspected businesses were not complying with laws, DMIRS executive director Lorraine Field said on Monday.
