After a Liberal party wipe-out, WA’s Lower House could end up with more MPs named Lisa than Liberal party members.

Adding to Mark McGowan’s historic Labor victory, this state election will also break records in terms of women in Parliament.

WA just elected the 100th woman to the State Parliament, one day after the 100-year anniversary of the election of Australia’s first female MP, Edith Cowan.
