WA election: Liberal leader Zak Kirkup holds ‘sincere wish’ to lead party after state poll

WA Opposition Leader Zak Kirkup says he has a “sincere wish and desire” to lead the Liberal Party into the future, but remains focussed on the immediate task of retaining his seat at the coming election.

West Australians head to the polls on March 13, but already a record number of voters have cast their ballots early, with the WA Electoral Commission also receiving more than 250,000 postal vote applications.
