WA ‘bumpkin’ Ashleigh hoping country background will help her win chosen man on Farmer Wants a Wife – PerthNow
The only WA contender on this year’s Farmer Wants a Wife, Pilbara local Ashleigh, is hoping her ‘country bumpkin’ background will win over her chosen beau.

The only WA contender on this years Farmer Wants a Wife is hoping her country bumpkin background will win over her chosen beau.
Ashleigh is a mechanical fitter from South Hedland and is already at home living in remote parts of the State. But her suitor is on the other side of the country Farmer Harry, below, who runs a grape, cotton and sheep farm in Goolgowi in NSW.
A self-confessed lover of the simple life, the 29-year-old bachelor said he would be a supportive husband and a red-hot dad.
Im looking for someone who is easy going, loves a laugh and is not afraid to have a go at new things, Harry said.

Ashleigh, 31, could choose from five farmers on the upcoming Seven show, but admitted she only had eyes for Harry.
Hes super cute and I reckon we would get along, she said.
While Ashleigh is one of eight women vying for Harrys heart, her familiarity with rural life may give her an advantage.
Im a bit of a country bumpkin myself, so Im hoping this will help me meet a nice country guy whos really looking for their best mate and love of their life, she said.
Farmer Wants a Wife will air soon on Seven/GWN7.
